Old Dominion University’s Quality Enhancement Plan, Improving Disciplinary Writing Program has funded this Faculty Learning Community.

Action Projects, funded through an internal grant process, are designed to encourage academic programs to learn, develop, and implement best practices to improve writing in the upper- division undergraduate courses within their programs. All programs are discipline-specific wherein upper-division courses teach the higher-level knowledge and skills as well as the methods, conventions, and sources appropriate to the specific area of study (IDW Action Projects).
